  Thanks dubstepped for the information. That's me in a nut shell. Totally ADD. I think one way but it comes out of my mouth differently or here out of my typing. Lol. I have just learn to laugh at myself. I am better in the morning through early afternoon by mid afternoon my Ritalin has worn off. Good luck on your podcast hope to be listening to it on my computer. The only phone I have is a old wooden oak box with a crank hanging on my wall. Lol. Just kidding. It is really a old cordless phone. Take care. Still Totally ADD

  Did your children help you wake up?

  what help me wake up, (still pimo) in addition to lingering doubts throughout most of my life, and i'm in my late 50s, was the questioning from my children when they became teenagers.

  i could not honestly defend the origins of the jws, prohibition of birthdays and other celebrations; especially when you realise that the whole belief system is/was based on crazy teachings of a businessman.. the real kicker is when you have a religion that has to produce its own bible to support its beliefs, that's when i knew the whole religion is an expensive and cleverly marketed belief system.

  like most religions.. glad to say none of my children want anything to do with jws and two of them don't believe in god.

  Hey Desirous I resemble that comment! Just kidding. No our children was no help in making us wakeup though our oldest son stop going to meetings for long time. He even told me he felt it was not the truth. But when we made it known we was leaving both of our boys was OK with it until their wives learned of it. That is when the shunning began. By both of them. The power of the cult is strong with those wives. Still Totally ADD

  i just thought i'd share this story from my past.. back in the 80s i remember the big problem seemed to be about music.

  (today, it's tight pants, i guess) the organization, society, whatever they were calling themselves, were always going on about the music we listened to.

  disco, heavy metal, the whole "backwards masking" thing...couldn't escape hearing or reading about how satan was corrupting us unless we were listening to kingdom melodies or elevator music.. i was assigned to wtf in the late 80s and remember one of the articles stating that "young people know that the rhythm of rock music is the rhythm of sexual intercourse.

  Ah yes the good old days. Dark side of the moon by Pink Floyd something demonic about the side of the moon we can't see. How about Stair Way To Heaven by Led Zeppelin? Play the song backwards it says worship Satan. Maybe all of us who did listen to Rock n Roll back in our youth was influence by the devil and that made us leave the cult. LOL Yes I see it now sex, drugs and Rock n Roll made us apostates because that is want we always wanted to do. Saint George was right. What else explains why we are here. Yeah right.   so... i am doing a crazy stat: how many pieces of paper has the wt ever published?.

  i don't have the answer yet, but.... i do have the approximate answer for the awake!

  and the watchtower magazines.... get ready... it's a whopping 1.1 trillion pages!.

You know what the cult is all about and this is your super power over those who are still trap in that cult.   i believe that i have a good cause to sue the organization.

  but i know that they have crafted themselves a legal loophole infinite loop.

  so i was thinking that i should just sue the congregation that i know fucked me over.

  Flipper what you just said is very true. His death stop progress in race relations in so many ways. Sunday my wife and I had the chance to listen to Professor Heron Simmons-Price. He is a Professor of political science at Canisius College in Buffalo. He is a leader in his community on racial problems for decades. I ask the question how can we help by bridging the Gap between races? His answer was just show kindness .

  Professor Simmons-Price is Jamaica born. He knows what racism is. He has lived it. But he stressed to me showing kindness to everyone is his biggest weapon in bringing people of different races together. His answer was so simple but so effective. I will never forget this instruction he gave me. Thank you for bringing this subject up. Take care my friend. Still Totally ADD
